CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES FAMILY BASED TREATMENT PROGRAM The Family Based Treatment Program is a therapeutic community living program for seriously emotionally disturbed children and youth providing a residential placement with professional foster parents who are recruited and trained by program staff. The children attend community schools and fully participate in community living activities with mental health services provided by staff. The professional parents receive ongoing training, close support and crisis services through the program. Twenty treatment slots are available in our treatment foster care homes located in Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties. What is The Family Corner?The Family Corner is a Family-Based Treatment Program which provides Treatment Foster Care to Seriously Emotionally Disturbed youth and their families in our community.Who Do We Serve? Seriously Emotionally Disturbed children and youth (4 - 12 years old) who require individual intensive treatment and have the potential to function in the community and within a family setting.
