New Hotline for Dating Violence Victims

“If teens are not turning to their parents for help, it is essential that they have a private outlet where they can discuss their fears with someone who will provide assistance,” said National Domestic Violence Hotline CEO, Sheryl Cates.  “This helpline and web site were designed exclusively for teens so they can speak to a peer or an adult advocate anonymously and confidentially.”  For more information, click here.

Watch VIP PSAs - Learn How Domestic Violence Impacts Lives and Workplaces

BHSN's Violence Intervention Project has recently produced three anti-battering videos in order to open a discussion on men's use of violence against women and how men can become part of the solution.

"To hold men accountable and to foster this discussion is the main reason VIP exists," said Pat Harford, Program Director.

These three videos approach the subject from three different viewpoints: the woman’s, the man who has made a different choice, and the business owner’s perspective.
