Qualifications include: strong data entry/keyboarding skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, accuracy and attention to detail. Prior customer service experience in a medical office setting preferred. Must be flexible. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier and reliable transportation required. High school diploma or equivalent required.
ADVOCATE (STOP DomesticViolence / So. Franklin County)
The STOP Domestic Violence program of BHSN has a full-time Advocate position available in southern Franklin County. Duties include: assisting clients with safety planning, providing local referrals, some transportation, and supportive counseling. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier and reliable transportation required. Training provided.
The Employee Assistance Services Program of BHSN is seeking a part-time or full time Clinician to provide diagnostic evaluation, motivational counseling, and referral activities. Qualified candidates must be a LCSW-R, or CEAP, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical mental health setting. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier and reliable transportation required.
BHSN is looking for a School Based Clinician to provide evidence based individual, group and family interventions entirely in school settings. This is a full time position, following a modified school calendar. Primary responsibilities include engaging child/family in a comprehensive assessment of strengths/needs of a child/family and developing treatment plans based on assessment of need. Will also provide individual/group/family therapies and facilitate crisis intervention services as clinically needed and have the ability to coordinate services in different schools. Qualifications include: NYS LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW. Previous experience working in a school setting preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of children and families. Travel between schools required.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – CHECK-IN (Adult Clinic)
BHSN seeks a full-time Customer Service Representative to perform client check-in functions in a busy medical office. Duties include: open office, verify client information, appointment scheduling, answer incoming calls / appointment reminder calls. Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism essential as provides link between patients and their health care provider. High school diploma or equivalent required. Organizational and computer skills required. Prior customer service experience in a medical environment preferred.
DRIVER (P/T) (Transportation)
BHSN seeks part-time Drivers to transport people to and from our Morrisonville, NY, location. Morning and afternoon shifts available. Valid NYS Driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carriers required.
REHABILITATION PRACTITIONER I (PROS)
BHSN seeks a F/T Rehabilitation Practitioner to provide individual/group rehabilitation interventions designed to teach skills and offer support to adults with mental illness. Qualifications: licensed or credentialed mental health professionals including LMHC, MSW/LMSW/LCSW, CASAC, RN, CRC, occupational therapist, marriage/family therapist, psychologist, or psychoanalyst with 1-2 yrs. experience in a mental health/rehabilitation environment preferred.
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF STAFF (Twin Oaks)
Twin Oaks, a community residence for individuals in recovery from chemical dependency, is seeking dependable and responsible individuals for Relief positions. Duties may include: assisting counselors, providing client supervision in a residential setting, recordkeeping, filing, medication supervision and accountability and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Must be at least 25 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years and reliable transportation a must. Experience in human services related field preferred. Training provided. Relief hours will vary.
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF STAFF (All Shifts) (Adult Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for mentally ill adults, is seeking dependable and responsible adults for Relief positions. Duties include assisting counselors, providing client supervision in residential setting, record keeping and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Training provided. Previous experience in human services field preferred. Hours are Midnight to 8:00 AM and various other shifts to work on an as-needed basis available.
RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT STAFF (F/T, P/T, Relief) (Adult Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for adults, is seeking candidates to assist residents with daily needs including medication management, transportation, linkage to other services, care coordination and discharge planning. Will develop service plans following regulatory policies and procedures and document progress. Shifts available: Mon – Fri 4PM – 12AM and Mon – Fri 4PM to 8PM in addition to “as needed” positions . Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in human services field preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier required. CPR certified or able to achieve certification within 6 months of hire. Basic computer and keyboarding skills essential. Must be able to climb/descend stairs, perform light household indoor and outdoor chores, and react quickly to situations inside and outside the residence.
