SCHOOOL BASED CLINICIAN
BHSN is looking for a *School Based Clinician* to provide evidence based individual, group and family interventions entirely in school settings. This is a full time position, following a modified school calendar. Primary responsibilities include engaging child/family in a comprehensive assessment of strengths/needs of a child/family and developing treatment plans based on assessment of need. Will also provide individual/group/family/therapies and facilitate crisis intervention services as clinically needed and have the ability to coordinate services in different schools. Qualified candidates will hold NYS LMHC, or LMSW licensure preferred. Previous experience providing psychotherapy as well as strong clinical and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of children and families. Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
CLINICIANS (Adult Clinic)
BHSN is seeking qualified individuals for full-time positions in its outpatient Adult Clinic. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and if credentialed, psychological testing. NY State licensure in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling required, LCSWR preferred.
WEEKEND RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR (Adult Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for mentally ill adults, is seeking a full time Weekend Residential Counselor to assist residents in learning and applying the skills necessary to live more independently. Duties include: providing supportive/educational counseling and assisting residents with addressing needs including but not limited to: transportation, linkage to other services and discharge planning. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and good interpersonal skills. Must be at least 23 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years. Previous experience working in related Human Services field preferred. Work hours are predominately weekends with some hours during some weekdays.
SUPPORTED HOUSING CASE WORKER
A full time Supported Housing Case Worker is needed to assist the Program Coordinator with finding safe, affordable, quality housing for eligible candidates and reviewing resident’s needs to connect them with services that will help them achieve success in independent living. Position entails assisting with daily living skills, advocating for clients, coordinating services with outside agencies, etc. Strong communication and organization skills required. HS Diploma/GED required; Associates degree in a Human Services field with 2 years experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and computer/data entry skills necessary. Must be at least 23 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least 3 years and reliable transportation a must.
CHIEF OF SERVICES (Administration)
Provide oversight, leadership and direct supervision to the agency’s direct services; reports to the CEO regarding all work activities; reports on direct services activities to the Board of Directors. Requirements include a Masters Degree in healthcare, behavioral healthcare or related field including MSW, MRC, MSN, PhD. Also must be a NYS Office of Mental Health Qualified Health Professional with appropriate current and active professional NYS license/certification. 7 years post masters professional direct practice experience including 7 years supervisory and leadership experience in a mental health treatment or rehabilitation setting. Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with New York State Office of Mental Health program and regulatory environments.
ACCOUNTING CLERK (Part Time)
BHSN seeks a candidate for a 16 hr/wk position. Candidate must be highly organized, pay great attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently. Duties include, but are not limited to: clerical support to the BHSN Finance Department, data entry, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous data entry and filing experience preferred.
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF (Twin Oaks)
Twin Oaks, a community residence for individuals in recovery from chemical dependency, is seeking dependable and responsible individuals for Relief positions. Duties may include: assisting counselors, providing client supervision in a residential setting, recordkeeping, filing, medication supervision and accountability and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Must be at least 25 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years and reliable transportation a must. Experience in human services related field preferred. Training provided. Relief hours will vary.
to provide transportation within Clinton County to transport adults to/from mental health programming. Split shifts may be either 6:30 AM – 8:45 AM and/or 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM as needed. Qualifications include H.S. Diploma or equivalent, valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record. Must be at least 25 years of age and pass a mandatory physical, drug & alcohol testing and background checks.
