FIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Families Involved Together (FIT) is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator. FIT utilizes a strength-based family-centered approach to problem solving in collaboration with the Clinton County Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative (CCSI) and multiple community child and family providers. The Program Coordinator acts as an advocate for parents and provides resources when deemed appropriate and when programmatic resources permit. Duties would include: Conducting outreach visits, facilitating community team family meetings through the CCSI process, leading family support groups and care coordination activities, assisting in the development and implementation of service plans and attending all relevant mental health trainings as time and resources permit. Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and/or have experience in a related human services field, have the ability to work a flexible schedule, and exhibit excellent communication skills. A parent or foster parent with experience raising a child with a psychiatric, behavioral, or emotional disorder is preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier with reliable transportation required.
RESIDENTIAL AIDE (Twin Oaks)
Twin Oaks is seeking Residential Aides on a part-time and relief basis to assist residents in maintaining sobriety/abstinence skills as they transition toward a drug-free lifestyle. Duties may include: assisting counselors, providing client supervision in a residential setting, recordkeeping, medication supervision and accountability and monitoring of daily activities as necessary. Those with experience and knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse delivery systems are encouraged to apply. Experience in substance abuse field is preferred. Training is provided. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license acceptable to BHSN’s insurance carrier. Some local travel may be required. Twin Oaks is a tobacco-free environment.
The Eldercare Program is seeking a part-time 15-20 hours per week Respite Provider to provide support and companionship to the elderly in their homes, within Clinton County. Prior experience in caring for the elderly is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier and reliable transportation essential for required travel. Mileage reimbursement provided. Flexible hours.
APARTMENT PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
BHSN is looking for a Supervisor to provide fiscal and programmatic oversight of an 18 bed Apartment Program designed to assist adults with mental illness learn the skills necessary to live independently. Strong supervisory, organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. Associates degree in related field and 3 years’ experience in human services required. BA in relevant human services field and experience working with adults with mental illness or co-occurring disorders preferred. Applicants must possess a valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier. Some local travel may be required.
RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT STAFF (various shifts)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for adults, is seeking full-time dependable and responsible adults to join their support staff. Duties include assisting other support staff to provide client supervision in residential setting, record keeping and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in human services field preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN's insurance carrier required. CPR certified or able to achieve certification within 6 months of hire. Basic computer and keyboarding skills essential. Must be able to climb/descend stairs, perform light household indoor and outdoor chores, and react quickly to situations inside and outside the residence Qualified candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of a 24-hour service. Overnight shifts will be required. All shifts are stay-awake shifts.
COMMUNITY EDUCATOR – Franklin County
STOP Domestic Violence is seeking a full-time Community Educator to provide direct services to clients of STOP DV, provide training for volunteers and staff, and provide educational presentations to community agencies, departments and schools in Franklin County. Bachelor’s degree in related field as well as experience in/knowledge of domestic violence is preferred. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of a 24-hour service.

BHSN is looking for a School-Based Clinician to provide evidence based individual, group and family interventions entirely in school settings. This is a full time position, following a modified school calendar. Primary responsibilities include engaging child/family in a comprehensive assessment of strengths/needs of a child/family and developing treatment plans based on assessment of need. Will also provide individual/group/family therapies and facilitate crisis intervention services as clinically needed and have the ability to coordinate services in different schools. Qualifications include: NYS LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW. Previous experience working in a school setting preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of children and families. Travel between schools required.
PEER DRIVER (PROS)
The PROS program is seeking a qualified Peer Driver to provide transportation assistance to help individuals keep wellness appointments. Drivers track daily mileage of transports, perform maintenance checks of vehicles, and insure that all required regulatory paperwork is completed. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier required. Must maintain an excellent driving record as a requirement of continued employment. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
HOME VISITOR (Healthy Families NY – Franklin County)
Full-time Home Visitor’s are needed to assist pregnant women and newly parenting families in Franklin County. Home Visitors provide strength based support and advocacy utilizing program resources including parenting curriculum and standardized assessment tools. Need for flexible work hours to include evenings and possibly weekends to accommodate families’ needs. Healthy Families – Franklin is an accredited Healthy Families New York Home Visiting Program. Applicants should possess at least a H.S. diploma, experience in a Health & Human services field and/or child care, strong organizational, time management and writing skills essential. Valid NYS driver’s license acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier with reliable transportation required.
CLINICIAN (Adult Clinic)
BHSN is seeking a F/T Clinician for its outpatient Adult Clinic. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and individual/group therapy. Will include evening hours as assigned. NY State licensure in Social Work (LCSW) required; LCSW-R preferred.
DRIVER (P/T) (Transportation)
BHSN seeks part-time Drivers to transport people to and from our Morrisonville, NY, location. Morning and afternoon shifts available. Valid NYS Driver’s license acceptable to BHSN's insurance carriers required.
HOMESTEADS ON AMPERSAND SUPPORT STAFF (HOA)
BHSN is seeking relief Support Staff to assist adults with mental illness in permanent supportive living settings. Position entails assisting with daily living skills, advocating for clients, developing individualized housing assessments and support plans to insure clients are connected to appropriate supports in the community. Good interpersonal, organizational, computer and data entry skills required. GED/HS Diploma required; Associates degree in relevant Human Services field with 2 yrs. employment experience in a helping capacity and/or certification of peer support training preferred. Reliable transportation and valid NYS driver’s license for required travel.

A Full-time staff member is someone who normally works at least 40 hours per week.
