WHAT WE MEAN BY...
When you work for BHSN, you will be classified in one of three categories of employees: Relief, Part-time or Full-time. A Relief staff member works on an "as needed" basis; a Part-time staff member usually works between 20 and 39 hours per week depending on the program/job description. A Full-time staff member is someone who normally works 40 hours per week.

COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
BHSN is seeking a full time Compliance Specialist to ensure BHSN provides the highest quality of care by assuring compliance with regulatory standards and leading continuous quality improvement activities throughout the Agency. Responsibilities include: monitor implementation/effectiveness of corrective action plan; audit/monitor Agency compliance plan; provide education/training regarding regulatory standards; and provide reports to management staff. Qualifications include: Must be a Registered Nurse. Attention to detail; good interpersonal skills and knowledge of Federal, State and OMH regulations needed.
PEER JOB COACH (PROS)
The Adult Rehabilitation and Recovery Services division of the PROS program seeks a part time Peer Job Coach to provide on-site and off-site work support to recipients in an effort to ensure success. Will transport recipients to and from employment site when clinically indicated. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience working with adults with mental illness, in a human services field or with employment programs preferred.
CHILD SERVICES COORDINATOR (STOP Domestic Violence)
Behavioral Health Services North, Inc. has a full time position available with the STOP Domestic Violence Program in Clinton County. Duties include: coordinate and identify children’s needs for services; provide care and advocacy; participate in hotline coverage, transportation, and follow up services for adult clients. BA in related Human Services field, valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
SOCIAL WORKER / CLINICIAN

BHSN is seeking a qualified individual for the full time position of Clinician at its Adult Outpatient Clinic. LCSW and experience with SPMI population required; LCSW–R a plus.
REHABILITATION PRACTITIONER (PROS) (Full Time and Part Time)
Are you looking for an exciting career in an innovative Community Mental Health Rehabilitation program? BHSN is seeking energetic self-starters to join our Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) team. Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in a human services related field; or an Associates degree in a human services related field with 1 to 2 years experience in a mental health or rehabilitation environment. CPR certification preferred. Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation required.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR (PROS)
Behavioral Health Services North (BHSN) is seeking a Program Director to oversee their Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) program. Candidates should have extensive background and experience in operating rehabilitation and recovery focused programs, possess strong management and leadership skills and have experience in program development and outcomes management. Expertise is managing effective and efficient services essential. LCSW or CRC preferred. LMHC mandatory.
VAN /BUS DRIVER (Transportation)
BHSN is seeking a CDL Driver to provide transportation within Clinton County to transport adults to/from mental health programming. Split shifts may be 6:30 AM – NOON and 2:00 – 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Ability to perform maintenance tasks essential.
We also seek per diem Relief Driver’s; shifts may be either 6:15 – 8:45 AM and/or 2:15 – 4:30 PM as needed. Qualifications include H.S. Diploma or equivalent, valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record. Must be at least 25 years of age and pass a mandatory physical, drug & alcohol testing and background checks.
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF (All Shifts) (Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for mentally ill adults, is seeking dependable and responsible adults for Relief positions. Duties include assisting counselors, providing client supervision in residential setting, record keeping and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Training provided. Previous experience in human services field preferred. Hours are Midnight to 8:00 AM and various other shifts to work on an as needed basis available.
