WHAT WE MEAN BY...

When you work for BHSN, you will be classified in one of three categories of employees: Relief, Part-time or Full-time. A Relief staff member works on an "as needed" basis; a Part-time staff member usually works between 20 and 39 hours per week depending on the program/job description. A Full-time staff member is someone who normally works 40 hours per week.


THIS WEEK WE’RE LOOKING For:

CUSTOMER SERVICE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT  (Child/Family Clinic & Adult Services)

Two full time positions available. Duties include: perform client intakes, data entry, quality review processes, appointment scheduling, and backup receptionist duties.  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment essential. Some evening hours required. High school diploma and strong keyboarding skills required. Prior experience in a medical office or as a pharmacy technician preferred. 

 

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Facilities)

A full time Maintenance Technician will be responsible for indoor/outdoor tasks; janitorial, landscape maintenance, painting, and snow removal/plowing.  Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs., climb ladders, and use janitorial equipment. Carpentry experience a plus. High school diploma and valid driver’s license required. CDL license preferred.

 

IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (MIS)

A full time IT Support Technician is needed to administer and oversee server networks, and design and implement database reports. Proficiency in SQL queries is essential.  End user/Help Desk support experience preferred. Experience training all skill levels on the use of hardware/software; troubleshooting hardware problems; and installation of hardware/software all essential. Qualifications: Associates degree in computer science, work experience in a medical office setting, and use of Crystal Report software all preferred.  Prior experience in network administration essential.

 

BILLING CLERK  (Billing)

A Billing Clerk is needed to work 24 hrs./wk. to provide data entry, filing, and assistance with monthly billing. Prior experience in an office setting, and strong/accurate data entry skills essential. Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently. Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets required. High School Diploma required. $10.00/hr. This position is benefit eligible.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (Admin.)

BHSN is seeking a Human Resources Manager. This newly created position will provide leadership in developing the human capital to support the long-term growth and success of the Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to build management capacity, organizational alignment, a performance management program, and programs to support a positive, successful work climate. The HR Manager will also oversee the administration of human resource policies, procedures and programs that support business goals and strategies across the Agency. A Bachelor’s degree in HR is required; a Master’s degree is preferred with advanced HR/OD credentials a plus. Requires 6+ years progressive experience in the Human Resources field with a minimum of 3 years leading a HR function; background in health care a plus.

 

PSYCHIATRIST (Adult Services)

BHSN is seeking a full time Psychiatrist for its NYS OMH licensed adult outpatient clinic. Responsibilities would include ordering/interpretation of diagnostic tests; performance of psychiatric assessments and evaluations; treatment planning; medication treatment/progress evaluation; and discharge planning. BHSN is a progressive agency positioning itself for the upcoming NYS initiatives including the integration of behavioral and physical healthcare. EHR utilized. No on-call hours. Qualified candidates will have or be eligible to obtain NYS physician license and be able to bill Medicare and Medicaid. Psychiatry board eligible and Board certified preferred.

 

CLINICIANS (Adult Clinic)
BHSN is seeking qualified individuals for full-time positions in its outpatient Adult Clinic. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and if credentialed, psychological testing. NY State licensure in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling required, LCSWR preferred. 

 

WEEKEND RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS  (Adult Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for mentally ill adults, is seeking full time Weekend Residential Counselors to assist residents in learning and applying the skills necessary to live more independently.  Duties include: providing supportive/educational counseling and assisting residents with addressing needs including but not limited to: transportation, linkage to other services and discharge planning. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and good interpersonal skills.  Must be at least 23 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years.   Previous experience working in related Human Services field preferredWork hours are predominately weekends with some hours during some weekdays.


CHIEF OF SERVICES (Administration)

Provide oversight, leadership and direct supervision to the agency’s direct services; reports to the CEO regarding all work activities; reports on direct services activities to the Board of Directors.  Requirements include a Masters Degree in healthcare, behavioral healthcare or related field including MSW, MRC, MSN, PhD. Also must be a NYS Office of Mental Health Qualified Health Professional with appropriate current and active professional NYS license/certification. 7 years post masters professional direct practice experience including 7 years supervisory and leadership experience in a mental health treatment or rehabilitation setting. Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with New York State Office of Mental Health program and regulatory environments.

 

ACCOUNTING CLERK (Part Time)
BHSN seeks a candidate for a 16 hr/wk position. Candidate must be highly organized, pay great attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently. Duties include, but are not limited to: clerical support to the BHSN Finance Department, data entry, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous data entry and filing experience preferred.


RESIDENTIAL RELIEF  (Twin Oaks)
Twin Oaks, a community residence for individuals in recovery from chemical dependency, is seeking dependable and responsible individuals for Relief positions. Duties may include: assisting counselors, providing client supervision in a residential setting, recordkeeping, filing, medication supervision and accountability and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Must be at least 25 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years and reliable transportation a must. Experience in human services related field preferred. Training provided. Relief hours will vary.


VAN /BUS DRIVER (Transportation)
BHSN is seeking a per diem CDL Driver to provide transportation within Clinton County to transport adults to/from mental health programming. Split shifts may be either 6:30 AM – 8:45 AM and/or 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM as needed.  Qualifications include H.S. Diploma or equivalent, valid NYS Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record. Must be at least 25 years of age and pass a mandatory physical, drug & alcohol testing and background checks. 


RESIDENTIAL RELIEF (All Shifts) (Residential)
Breakthrough II, a community residence for mentally ill adults, is seeking dependable and responsible adults for Relief positions. Duties include assisting counselors, providing client supervision in residential setting, record keeping and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Training provided. Previous experience in human services field preferred. Hours are Midnight to 8:00 AM and various other shifts to work on an as-needed basis available.
