Director of Human Resources (Admin./ HR)
BHSN is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide leadership in developing the human capital to support the long-term growth and success of the Agency. The selected individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to build management capacity, organizational alignment, a performance management program, and programs to support a positive, successful work climate. The Director will also oversee the administration of human resource policies, procedures and programs that support business goals and strategies across the Agency and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. A Bachelor’s degree in HR is required; a Master’s degree is preferred with advanced HR/OD credentials a plus. Requires 10+ years progressive experience in the Human Resources field with a minimum of 3 years leading an HR function; background in health care a plus.
Children Services Coordinator(STOP DV)
BHSN has a full time position available with the STOP Domestic Violence Program in Clinton County. Duties include: coordinate and identify children’s needs for services; provide care and advocacy; participate in hotline coverage, transportation, and follow up services for adult clients. BA in related Human Services field, valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Rehabilitation Practitioner (PROS)
BHSN is seeking a qualified individual for the full time position of Rehabilitation Practitioner to provide individual and group rehabilitation interventions designed to teach skills and offer support to adults with mental illness participating in Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) as they pursue rehabilitation goals. Qualifications include licensed or credentialed mental health professionals including LMHC, LMSW/LCSW, CASAC, CPRP, RN, CRC, occupational therapist, or marriage/family therapist; with 1 to 2 years experience in a mental health or rehabilitation environment. CPR certification preferred. Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Program Support Specialist (Therapeutic Foster Care)
The Therapeutic Foster Care Program at BHSN seeks a Program Support Specialist to assist with the pre-placement process, supervise visitation between placed foster children and their discharge resources, provide
structure, feedback and support in the effort to improve parenting skills. Will provide transportation to visits when necessary, and provide post discharge contacts and linkage to appropriate community services. Bachelor’s degree in human services field with minimum of 3 years experience in providing services to children and families; or Master’s degree with one year's experience required. Excellent communication/writing skills, and valid/clean NYS driver’s license with reliable vehicle essential.
FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER (FIT)
The Families Involved Together (FIT) program of BHSN is seeking a parent,
foster parent or other individual with experience raising a child with
emotional or behavioral challenges, to provide family support services on a
part time basis. Responsibilities include providing support and advocacy
to parents of identified children. Qualifications include: Experience
raising a child with emotional/behavioral challenges. Bachelor’s degree in
Human Service preferred. Strong communication and engagement skills,
flexible work schedule, valid NYS driver’s license, and reliable
transportation. Rate of compensation $25 per hour of direct client service.
ACCOUNTING CLERK (Part Time)
BHSN seeks a candidate for a 16 hr/wk position. Candidate must be highly organized, pay great attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently. Duties include, but are not limited to: clerical support to the BHSN Finance Department, data entry, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous data entry and filing experience preferred.
EMPLOYMENT COUNSELOR (Supported Employment)
BHSN is seeking a full time employment counselor to assist adults with mental illness in choosing, getting and keeping competitive employment. Duties include assisting recipients by providing onsite/offsite job development/coaching and conducting career/benefits counseling. Candidates must be organized to effectively manage meetings and documentation deadlines, willing to work a flexible schedule, possess strong interpersonal skills, and must possess a valid NYS driver’s license. BA in related Human Services field or 2 years employment in mental health, employment or rehabilitation field preferred.
CLINICIANS (Adult Clinic and Child & Family Clinic)
BHSN is seeking qualified individuals for full-time positions in its outpatient Adult Clinic and Child & Family Clinic. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy, and if credentialed, psychological testing.
Child & Family Clinic positions include provision of services in school-based settings. NY State licensure in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling required (permit acceptable).
RESIDENTIAL RELIEF (Twin Oaks)
Twin Oaks, a community residence for individuals in recovery from chemical dependency, is seeking dependable and responsible individuals for Relief positions. Duties may include: assisting counselors, providing client supervision in a residential setting, recordkeeping, filing, medication supervision and accountability and monitoring daily activities as necessary. Must be at least 25 years of age to apply. Valid NYS driver’s license for at least three years and reliable transportation a must. Experience in human services related field preferred. Training provided. Relief hours will vary.
