Fraud, Waste, and Abuse

The federal government enacted Section 6032 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, effective January 1, 2007, requiring entities that receive more than $5 million annually in Medicaid funds to establish written policies providing detailed information about fraud, waste, and abuse in federal health care programs.

Behavioral Health Services North maintains these required policies and distributes them to its employees, agents, and contractors, who are required to adopt and abide by them in the performance of their duties.
