Housing North operates as a small, specialized apartment complex providing a permanent supportive housing solution for single adults. The program is designed specifically to bridge the gap between homelessness and long-term recovery for those living with a mental health diagnosis. Unlike transitional programs, Shannon's House focuses on permanent placement, giving residents the time and security they need to achieve their personal goals without the stress of housing uncertainty.
By combining safe, high-quality housing with optional financial and rehabilitative support, we help residents maintain their independence and integrate successfully into the Plattsburgh community.
